We couldn't have done it without the incredible support of our official logistics partner, Gebrรผder Weiss. Logistics can be incredibly complicated, but they made it easy by handling the entire organizational process. All we had to do was pack our gear, which allowed us to focus completely on the engineering of our car. We know from other teams just how difficult this can be, and we are so grateful for their efficiency.
Their partnership is invaluable, as they have been our official logistics partner for every race. They shipped our equipment, tools, and battery by sea freight halfway around the world and flew the car directly to provide us with the crucial extra time we needed for final preparations and testing. Their passion and commitment towards the project has made a huge difference.
Today we successfully passed the first two control stops and covered 632 km of the race. We are very happy to say that we drove without ever stopping for repairs, although a red light signal before a construction site did hold us back for quite some time. As the clock struck 17:00, marking the official driving stop for the day, we were in the middle of the second obligatory 30-minute control stop. We have now set up camp in Dunmara and will start tomorrow by completing the control stop. After that, we will be back on the road, continuing south along the Stuart Highway.
A huge thank you to Gebrรผder Weiss for being a key part of our adventure to the start line
